Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists for the Team Sports and Clubs portfolio in line with the determined sales strategies and objectives under the lead of Teams Sports & Sales Manager in Football Directorate.
  • Actively participate in the improvement of the team sports & clubs portfolio
  • Assists the Team Sports Sales Manager in the direction of sales activities throughout the season and provides them with necessary know-how and motivation
  • Responsible of participating in new team sports & clubs negotiations & deals, contract and P&L management processes in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting Teams Sports Sales Manager regarding coordinating with sourcing office and partnering up with CTC, Brand, SCM for local production opportunities while managing customize ad-hoc request.

Essential Duties & Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Follows continuously the attainment of sales objectives of the customers who are assigned by manager and interferes the process if necessary
  • Under the lead of manager, support for the direction of customer purchases during NMM(Seasonal Camp) and ensures that the purchase orders are taken in line with the determined objectives
  • Ensures that sales are finalized according to the “sales conditions” set forth for the sales period
  • Contributes to the preparation of Risk Order by forecasting additional sales and manages this pool effectively during the sales season
  • Follows customer sales, product performance and follows their risks
  • Investigates and finds entrepreneurs in regions with high sales potential and shares the applications with management for evaluation
  • Gives ‘Team Sports Partners’ about “TS distribution strategy” (sales, stocks, product know-how, service quality, visual support etc.) in order to improve their service level in his/her region.
  • Follows the changes and competition in the sector and in the region and informs and directs the customers and the management
  • Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, and actively seek new sales opportunities for Team Sports
  • Prepares the daily & weekly & monthly sales reports regularly and can create the new ones for the channel if it is needed
  • Attends the outer meetings on the behalf of the channel if it is needed and informs the manager accordingly
  • Ready to prepare presentations which are demanded by manager or essential for the channel.
  • Providing the training and development of the staff working at the Team Sports Partners after coordination with the related departments

Requisite Education and Experience:

  • University degree
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a sports/fashion customer- and commercial- focused retail company
  • Minimum 2-year of account management or 3rd party relation experience
  • Project Management experience may also be valuable
  • Advanced numeracy, literacy, and verbal communication skills

  • Take full ownership of the district and its commercial success
    • Ensure all established VM and ISC standards are consistently executed & maintained in the stores
    • Planning sales increasing activities such as interstore competitions.
  • Analyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo with both Retail Back Office partners and Store Managers
  • Coach Store Managers to increase their stores’ sales, productivity and profitability
  • Ensure the legal and financial integrity of the district’s store portfolio
  • Drive a service and selling culture in the district
  • Spend focused time on the sales floor during store visits to determine service improvement opportunities and to coach the Store Managers
  • Be a Brand Ambassador, consistently exhibiting the Brand Attitude and Values
  • Ensure proper in-store Brand execution, according to established standards and directives, in all stores within the district
  • Facilitate the effective and timely delivery and execution of Foundational and Seasonal Brand and product training materials in the stores
  • Plan and prioritize structured store visits to maximize the district’s performance
  • Dedicate a minimum of 3½ days per week to completing store visits and ensure all stores in the district are visited at least once per month (exceptions must be approved by the Market DTC Director)
  • Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, initiatives and directives, conduct PEP&TLU for district
  • Assess and make recommendations to improve the commercial viability and availability of products for the district’s stores
  • Manage loss prevention as well as health and safety risks
  • Lead the recruitment, on-boarding, training and development efforts in the district

  • Create a high performance culture by setting clear expectations, analyzing performance and giving appropriate and prompt feedback, including actively managing poor performance

    • Ensure product availability, flag best/slow movers, initiate stock transfers and coordinate with merchandising team on replenishment needs
    • Follow-up on in-season product performance and provide necessary feedback for purchase plans, involvement in NMM meetings
    • Distribute sales objectives given for retail shops among each sales point monthly and category wise, determine the budget, inform store managers and follow the process and the results.
    • Ensure FO’s have enough stock and seek replenishment opportunities
    • Develops ideas for increasing FO sales, plans campaigns, sets pricing for management’s approval. Executes campaigns effectively with VM dept.
    • Adheres to stock aging principles

Requisite Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 18 months’ work experience in a sports/fashion customer and commercial focused retail environment with a minimum of 12 months of District Manager responsibility
