• Monitor and manage intercompany orders inbound transactions.

• Understands and executes transactions following import rules and regulations complying with applicable Country Import Regulatory policies and procedures for international shipments.
• Manage communication between 3M international subsidiaries and ship locations by providing accurate data including product availability, order status, expedites, etc.
• Follow up on escalations, delays, shipment discrepancies, invoice issues, system and data errors, and transportation issues.
• Support inquiries.
• Ensure timely completion of Customer Feedback Resolution data our subsidiary partners.
• Identification of opportunities to improve and involvement in continuous improvements initiatives (Lean Six Sigma)

  • Ensure business teams understand digitization requirements and maintain constant communication with required teams to ensure product attributes and related information are defined and accurate.
  • Support & enable marketing and digital teams in the management of digital content (ensuring accuracy and relevancy of information) required to drive the business’ presence, vision, goals and strategies.
  • Adhere to QA processes and provide insight on processes. Active participation in training and self-training from new technologies and tools updates
  • Ensures adherence to 3M policies, guidelines, and procedures as required for the effectiveness and quality of the services provided.

You will be successful by:

  • Strong Excel skills to analyze product data and digitize fast in utilization of global product information sourcing in an effective manner
  • Ability to understand technical design features and technical architecture as it relates to website and content development

You will be part of the Asia Pacific Audit team to assist the corporation by performing financial and operational audits to ensure accuracy of financial statements, adequacy of operational and internal controls, and identification of administrative efficiencies that will lead to savings in money and time. You may also be tasked to perform ad hoc or special reviews. This requires 25% - 40% overseas travel within the region. Through assigned audits, you will assist the corporation in complying with federal, state, local laws and regulations. Responsibilities

· To lead and/ or work with the audit team in a fast learning environment to conduct financial, operational and/ or compliance audits and special reviews (when required) in the Asia Pacific region.

· Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with Corporate and local policies and procedures.

· Identify and clearly define audit issues and root causes, provide sound and practical improved internal controls and business processes.

· Prepare audit report/ audit findings and present it to the business management team.

· Ensure that management action plans are developed, sustainable and implemented on time.

· Prepare work papers and adequately document audit work performed to support conclusions reached.

· Actively participate in global/ regional initiatives aimed at improving Corporate Audit's processes and procedures.

Requirements

· Degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent.

· At least four years' relevant experience in audit, preferably in manufacturing space and/ or business process outsourcing and/ or Big 4 accounting firms’ exposure (i.e., Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG).

· A highly motivated individual with demonstrated leadership attributes and problem-solving skill will be considered a key contributor to this dynamic audit team.

· Possess the drive to gain good knowledge and understanding of the company's policies and procedures and systems.

· You are also confident and comfortable dealing with senior management.

· Experience in data extraction and data analysis would be an advantage.

· This position requires travel to the Asia Pacific region (about 25% - 40%).

· Professional certification (CPA, CIA, ACCA, etc.) is preferred.

· Fluent English speaking and writing, as well as strong communication skills are necessary.

· Fluency in Asian language is desirable.

· Experience in SAP ERP will be an added advantage.

The responsibilities will include:

GL CLOSING:

  • Perform test Transmission runs and identify errors
  • Coordinate resolution of transmission errors to respective parties (ICO, AR, IT, etc.)
  • Perform Final Transmission of financials in Peoplesoft / BPC
  • Run and maintain Allocation set up for
    simple
  • Maintain opening and closing of GL Module.

BALANCE SHEET ACCOUNTS RECONCILIATION:

  • Prepare monthly. quarterly and annual reconciliation on accounts with moving balances assigned to the team
  • Identify and investigate variances, clean up ageing recon items

JOURNALS:

  • Process Manual JVs requests (prepare JV Templates)
  • Park JVs in SAP / S2K
  • Ensure completeness of supporting docs of journals (i.e. basis for calculation, approvals, JV Templates, etc.)
  • Prepare self-initiated journals

OPERATIONAL RHYTHM:

  • Participate in T1 Huddles
  • Escalate issues occurring in the production floor
  • Facilitate / lead T1 Huddles
  • Provide inputs to the End to End Specialists during Financial Statement Review, Account Balance Sheet Review and Post Close Review

SOX and COMPLIANCE:

  • Assist in providing supporting documents requests from SOX / Auditors.
  • May perform related SOX controls
  • Ensure processes follow the 3M Global Financial Standard, SOX, and other regulations.

OTHERS:

  • Participate in process improvement activities ensuring continuous improvement and productivity (i.e. CIs, JDIs, etc.).
  • Participate in projects, e.g. accounting centralization activities from the region, SAP deployment, etc.
  • Updating of SOPs of the assigned tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Accounting degree and preferably with minimum 2 years relevant working experience in finance and accounting
  • Working experience in shared service center is preferred
  • CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus
  • Able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders in the organization

Skills:
