Job Summary:
As a Data Team Supervising Associate, you will support and enhance the firm’s overall Ethics & Compliance program efforts through:
- Identification and execution of continuous improvement efforts with the creation and maintenance of data-driven reports, and assessment of data and trends.
- Support of firm leadership and leaders across the Ethics & Compliance program teams in identifying possible regulatory non-compliance or ethics-related risks within the business.
- Oversight of the Ethics & Compliance Program for alignment with the framework to help foster a culture of integrity and accountability and mitigate regulatory and legal risks.
You'll work independently, with periodic feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, transform and visualize relevant Ethics & Compliance data from various sources.
- Manage the refresh, maintenance and access to all Ethics & Compliance program dashboards, which reside across multiple Power BI workspaces.
- Review, digest and synthesize testing results across multiple programs to provide wholistic summary to leadership.
- Analyze the resulting information and reports to extract actionable insights and drive strategy in embedding ethics and compliance into the rhythm of business with personal accountability aligned to a shared vision.
- Operate as a business partner to leaders to help leverage data from monitoring and investigations to improve the programs and identify targeted areas of focus.
- Using structured problem-solving processes, determine root cause(s) of problems that arise and implement countermeasures to prevent problem recurrence.
- Recommend ways to improve process(es) and/or develop new approaches, calling on your ethics, compliance, and business experience.
- Familiarize yourself with master data associated within the Ethics & Compliance program to identify outliers or trends that require the firm’s response.
- Establish and implement project plans, including goals and measures. Follow up on all approved changes and enhancements to the process(es).
- Develop and maintain documentation related to team processes and procedures.
- Work closely with technical teams to develop new enablement tools or troubleshoot and remedy issues with existing tools.
- Gain an understanding of the key requirements of firm policies and regulators’ rules.
- Keep abreast of emerging knowledge, trends and lessons learned. Create and deliver training presentations to communicate new developments (and their impact) to Ethics & Compliance leaders and their team members.

To qualify, candidates must have:
- Familiarity with use of data analytics to address Ethics & Compliance initiatives
- Understanding of Department of Justice guidance for compliance programs and the requirements for the use of data
- Project management skills
- Problem-solving ability
- A flexible approach
- Demonstrated record of taking the initiative
- Strong research and communications skills
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks
- Good working knowledge of programs like Excel, Power Query and Power BI;application tools such as Alteryx and Dataverse a plus
- Highest level of ethics and integrity
- A minimum of 5-7 years related experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $72,600 to $135,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $87,100 to $154,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
