You will:

• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including export controls and sanctions, while
• Advise on international trade regulations and compliance requirements
• Manage the various complex lanes of business and provide support relating to but not limited to export compliance, export licensing and order screening escalations
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient import/export operations
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as Trade (import/export) Compliance Professional or related degree, certification(s), or professional license
• Working knowledge of US Trade (import/export) regulations and understanding of the complexities and requirements of international business
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate across functional areas i.e., Legal, Global Supply Chain, etc., and the ability to work independently to deliver completed staff work

Desirable Requirements

• Trade Related Certifications e.g., LCB, CUSECO, ECoP, etc.
• Bilingual or multilingual
