What You’ll Do
  • Knock down any barriers to storage adoption
  • Identification – work closely with sales and build relationships with customers, utilities, and regulators to understand biggest pain points on the road to 100% renewable energy
  • Solution design - work closely with product, engineering, and policy teams to design solutions, from new financing strategies, to policy proposals, to new tools and resources
  • Advocacy - convince key industry stakeholders (e.g. utilities, ISOs, policymakers, financers) to adopt Tesla’s view of the future
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive market expansion strategy for industrial energy storage solutions across APAC. Identify key market and prioritize entry based on market potential and regulatory environment
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, advanced degree preferred
  • 6+ years in energy industry; 4+ years in energy storage
  • Excellent understanding of energy industry; deep knowledge of energy storage technology and value proposition
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
  • Experience presenting to external executive teams, ideally in a sales or BD role
  • Strong existing connections across the energy industry
