Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Supports Sr. Manager BU Running EM, in executing EM short and medium-term objectives for the category by delivering across all KPIs.
Execute Global Concepts-to-Consumer strategies in a locally relevant way for EM by working closely with the Category Manager, BU Running in each Cluster within Emerging Markets, considering different consumer needs and distribution channels.
Support in building a product range for the dedicated Category that fulfils the needs of the EM Hub and Clusters, which is competitive in terms of structure, price and margin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking and data analytics for ONE EM RANGE KPIs like Business on Hand and YTD performance
- Act as system champ for the BU (RMA, RMT, GTM milestones, sell-in tools, etc.)
- Responsible for regular sell thru tracking of key campaigns and franchises.
- Take charge of all BU ranging activities in RMA and adhere to seasonal timelines as per guidance set by the MOPS Team
- Responsible for Commercial Input into Global by conducting regular competition analysis of Running
- Understands the EM consumer retail environment including distribution points, share of buy, competitor ranges and pricing strategies

- Adherence to global deadlines providing meaningful Category Commercial Input
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advance excel and powerpoint knowledge. Excellent communication and presentation skills
In addition, the individual must demonstrate:
- Passionate for sports, preferably product ranging specific with knowledge of sport
- Exposure to merchandising approach including assortment planning, FPST, Open to Buy, launch and exit calendars, rate of sales, and also to VM planning & execution
- Ability to guide optimal range building as per segmentation strategy and option plan (product type, gender, price points) for different channels
- Pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mind-set, ability to think end-to-end
- Ability to work in agile environment with different culture and nationalities
- Commercial acumen: Very good numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required
Requisite education and Experience/ qualifications
- University degree in business, ideally with Marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience;
- 3+ years Merchandising experience including Sales and Retail exposure, ideally in sporting goods, fashion/lifestyle brands
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficient in MS Office
