APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop test and control plans to validate and verify new product quality including performing pFMEA, developing test metrology, defining sampling plan and OCAP, data analysis, etc. Ensure operational technical readiness for all phases of the introduction cycle, including driving contract manufacturer preparation for pre-production builds. This includes prep and readiness of quality test equipment, test SOP, test SW and overlay, OP training, GRR and correlation study. Drive key operational metrics including yield and UPH to ensure complete ramp readiness. Drive process development, documentation, optimization and validation, including all test requirement plans for factory to follow and execute. Lead Process FMEAs on new technologies and manufacturing processes to assess risk of process and ensure proper control and inspection is in place. Monitor in-process Quality Control results. If there are failures or poor performing parts, need to drive failure analysis to understand root cause of issue, and implement corrective actions to address problem and prevent similar issue from happening. Generate product quality documentation for mass production, such as test SOP, ERS, OCAP, to ensure proper control in in place to produce products that meet quality requirements. Develop and implement new technologies to enhance production quality, capacity and efficiency, such as using machine learning to help judge pass fail of cosmetic defects, developing automated solutions for inspection, resulting in faster, more accurate testing with less headcount of operators. Generate Product Quality Plan (PQP) and handle and triage quality critical issues, by conducting investigations on process and material through commonality study, test data analysis, physical failure analysis, etc. Monitor Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) and Customer Audit (CA) processes at contract manufacturer (CM) and periodically review Field and Factory Quality Data with CM partners, to ensure no escapes or excursions from factory that cause field quality returns.
