Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or related field and 6 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
6 months of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Performing Statistical Process Controls for understanding different variables in the manufacturing process.
Conducting Design of Experiments to select the most optimal solution for a given problem.
Performing Failure Modes and Effect Analysis for understanding the risks in the design and process effecting the overall reliability of the product.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Utilize program management skills to keep track of the top issues of the programs and ensure timely execution.
Use DMAIC processes to optimize current workflows in the manufacturing site.
Assist in training production staff on new processes and equipment, ensuring they understand and follow established procedures.
Drive and participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) engagement with cross-functional partners to meet product quality and cost goals.
Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to support consistent manufacturing processes.
