Triaging and Assessing Naming Requests: Review and prioritize incoming requests for product and solution names for alignment with our brand architecture and naming principles, ensuring timely responses and effective communication with stakeholders.
Name Refinement:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and finalize name candidates that align with brand strategy and market positioning.
Coordination with BMC Teams: Work closely with other BMC colleagues to ensure alignment with existing service line, sector and Regional commercial offerings and avoid duplication of efforts.
Research Management:Collaborate with a research colleague who is tasked with investigating commercial uses of name candidates. Assess intellectual property risks associated with each name.
Presentation of Findings: Compile research findings and present recommendations to global brand leaders and lawyers in the global general counsel's office.
Documentation and Reporting:Maintain organized records of name requests, research findings, decisions and final approved names.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field (internships included).
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage dozens of naming requests at once, each one in various stages of review.
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Comfort with delivering constructive feedback, including the rationale for any rejection of names by leadership.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Familiarity with intellectual property considerations is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft M365 including Teams and Excel
Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system
Flexible to Support various Global Time Zones
