Your Impact

  • Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted technical advisor by understanding the customer's market and industry, identifying growth opportunities and technology insertion points, and guiding risk mitigation plans.
  • Core Routing Solutions: Advocate for current and emerging mass-scale routing technologies, ensuring solutions are relevant to customer success and aligned with Cisco's Validated Guides for Service Provider.
  • Solution Design: Own the solution design and translate customer requirements into technical tracks. Utilize extensive technical knowledge across multiple technology domains to develop and communicate comprehensive architectural solutions.
  • Customer Success and Adoption: Lead initiatives to introduce new products and execute proof of concept/value initiatives involving Cisco mass-scale routing products and technologies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain key relationships with CX and customer stakeholders to facilitate a best-in-class customer experience.
  • serve as an integrated member of the Cisco CX team supporting outcome-oriented engineering, implementation, and production support efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in customer-facing service delivery roles with 3+ years designing and supporting Cisco service provider / core routing at a global systemically important bank (G-SIB).
  • Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco SP routing platforms and technologies including the ASR 9000 and Cisco 8000 platforms, traffic engineering, QoS, routed optical networking, networking peering, and data center interconnection
  • Technical Leadership: demonstrable record of using subject matter expertise to lead technical programs or projects.
  • Problem Solving: clear ability to analyze, isolate, and resolve issues in a way that contributes directly to customer success.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer Service Provider preferred, or any two of Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer Data Center or Enterprise Infrastructure; Cisco Certified Network Professional – Service Provider; Cisco Certified DevNet Specialist – Service Provider Automation and Programmability.
  • Production Experience with Segment Routing Traffic Engineering, Cisco Crosswork Network Controller and Cisco Crosswork Network Services Orchestrator.
