Job Description

(PAH) Healthcare Pathways & Diagnostics Manager (HPM) will play a key role within the, and you report to the NoBa Cluster Franchise Lead.
As the PAH Healthcare Pathways and Diagnostics Manager, you have a crucial role in advancing the field of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) by developing and optimizing healthcare pathways and diagnostics to enable efficient and accurate diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of PAH patients in the NoBa Cluster. Your expertise contributes to improving patient outcomes, optimizing resource utilization, and driving excellence in PAH care. This position requires a deep understanding of PAH diagnostics, healthcare systems, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.


Primary activities and Key Responsibilities
Pathway Development and Optimization

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams, to develop and refine evidence-based care pathways for PAH diagnosis, treatment initiation, monitoring, and disease management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize PAH care delivery processes, reducing time to diagnosis and improving patient access to appropriate treatments.
  • Stay abreast of emerging research, guidelines, and best practices in PAH care, integrating new evidence into healthcare pathways.

Diagnostic Strategy and Implementation

  • Work closely with the regional and global teams to implement anti pro BNP diagnostic tools, techniques, and technologies to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis of PAH.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including diagnostic companies and research institutions, to identify and implement innovative diagnostic solutions that enhance PAH diagnosis, risk stratification, and treatment response assessment.
  • Develop educational programs and materials to promote awareness, appropriate testing, and improved time to diagnosis.
  • Develop educational programs and resources to improve echocardiography assessment of PAH patients, with a focus on boosting RHC capacity in the country.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Education

  • Work closely with the PAH Brand & Customer Manager to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare providers, diagnostic, Echocardiography, and RHC experts to ensure alignment and integration of diagnostic strategies.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on the latest diagnostic advancements, pathways, and guidelines related to PAH.
  • Collaborate with medical societies and professional associations to contribute to the development of PAH diagnostic guidelines and standards.

Data Analysis and Quality Improvement

  • Analyze healthcare data, including diagnostic utilization rates, patient outcomes, and healthcare resource utilization, to identify opportunities for quality improvement and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data analytics teams to develop metrics and dashboards for tracking and reporting on diagnostic performance and adherence to care pathways.
  • Project Management and Leadership
  • Be a key contributor to the SEE PAH cross-functional team focused on executing projects related to healthcare pathways and diagnostic initiatives.
  • Develop project plans, set timelines, and allocate resources to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Experience & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, life sciences, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in the field of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), including a deep understanding of PAH diagnostics and healthcare pathways.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, techniques, and technologies used in PAH diagnosis, risk stratification, and treatment response assessment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, protocols, and guidelines related to PAH care.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and industry partners.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Passion for improving patient care, outcomes, and healthcare delivery in the field of PAH.
  • Availability to travel up to 50%
