Job responsibilities
- Create and execute plans to deliver on P&L responsibilities for the country
- Lead and develop the cross-functional Site Leadership team (SLT)
- Develop and execute operational strategy and plan, in alignment with market and sales strategy
- Set and deliver objectives in Commercial, Compliance, Safety, Quality, People and Finance.
- Accountable for driving Business Development plans in Chile
- Identify and implement Operational Excellence programs to reduce operating costs and increase productivity
- Prepare Site Master plan and annual operating and capital budget, lead capital budget execution
- Responsible for Talent Management and Development, including annual performance review and employee engagement/retention strategy.
Requirements to succeed in the job
- Spanish proficiency is strongly desired.
- Strong P&L management is required.
- You will have a good understanding of the market dynamics along with thorough strategic thinking to assess and develop plans in-line with cluster and regional strategies.
- Strong people orientation and be willing to invest time to build close relations within the leadership team and with employees
- Significant experience and understanding of Market Access & Corporate Affairs to evolve the public ecosystem in Chile
- Ready to invest a good amount of time to build strong relations with different stakeholders such as MoH, Regulatory committee leaders etc.
- Very good understanding of policy and access dynamics.
- Leading with a WOW mindset and creating a culture of transparency, trust and empowerment
- Enabling and strengthening cross-functional teamwork
Qualifications:
- Education/University degree from accredited university, preferably in Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Economics, BA, Finance or similar.
- An advanced degree in graduate studies (MA, MBA, or Medical Doctor) is a plus.
- Significant (+15) years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry including several years in marketing/sales.
- Tendering, negotiation and access skills
- Previous Regional/HQ role is a plus
- Strong P&L management
- Agile and digital acumen
- Change management
