The Valuation Control Group (VCG) is an independent global group within Product Control responsible for reviewing and reporting fair value inventory and IPV across all asset classes.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working across Product Control, Risk and Operations and Business to perform IPV.

  • Assisting with price testing, fair value hierarchy, and valuation adjustment calculations for all Non-Markets businesses across multiple different asset classes.

  • Assisting with ensuring a high level of accuracy across all reported numbers, high quality of pertaining commentaries, and adequate legal entity focus.

  • Assisting with valuation reporting and responding to questions related to the assigned processes.

  • Completing all tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Fluent English (verbal/written) at minimum B2 level.

  • Strong data analysis, data mapping and reconciliation skills.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Willingness to learn technical/IT skills; Some experience in SQL, VBA, Python, Tableau, or KNIME would be a great advantage.

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Self-motivated and innovative.

  • Exceptional candidates may be considered for the role even if not all requirements are met.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein any finance, economics, or quantitative related subject.
