Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer for Rubber Molding, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Improvement of key performance measures for assigned processes, to include operating efficiency (OEE/CEE), rates, yields and equipment runtime and downtime
- Actively utilize Lean Manufacturing and Tier Process to identify/resolve top issues
- Lead and Develop Optimized Changeover efforts for an assigned area
- Development and implementation of improvements related to safety, quality, service and cost (productivity)
- Responsible for continuous improvement of assigned processes through development and implementation of programs to increase product and process understanding and reduce process variability
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering and/or Science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Prior experience working with rubber molding
- Prior experience working within a manufacturing and/or process engineering environment
- Experience with DMAIC and Lean Manufacturing
