We currently are seeking Seniors & Managers with P&C experience in our Insurance Business Consulting Practice. Our team is focused on helping clients improve business performance and operational efficiency while managing risk. Our teams help clients by delivering assessment, transformation, and process efficiency solutions across the Property and Casualty (P&C) industry in both personal and commercial lines. We deliver value across the full spectrum of the business including strategic direction, customer and advisor engagement, operations, technology enablement, people and organization change, and program management and execution. Candidates for the role should have the following years experience in each rank:

  • Senior: at least 4 years of relevant P&C insurance industry experience
  • Manager: at least 8 years of consulting and relevant P&C insurance industry experience

Your key responsibilities

  • As an experienced Senior or Manager, an important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.
  • Lead large-scale client engagements or components thereof. Consistently delivering quality client services. Driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. You'll monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex strategy concepts.
  • Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high quality deliverables and within expected timeframes. Monitor progress, manage risk and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients. Focus on deliverables and client business priorities. Manage expectations of service. Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers and business trends.
  • Develop people (Manager). Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/training. Foster an innovative and team-oriented work environment.
  • Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge. Keep up to date with current developments and trends in consulting services capabilities andindustry knowledge.
  • Support the generation of new business opportunities. Develop long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with other EY team members across all practices to serve client needs.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in Underwriting or Claims in either Personal or Commercial lines
  • For a Senior a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in the P&C industry in an Underwriting or Claims role
  • For a Manager a minimum of 8 years’ experience working in the P&C industry or with a professional services firm working within the Insurance sector
