Job DescriptionRemote Service Engineer, Ultrasound and CT
You are responsible for:
- Acting as a Philips Representative in response to customer inquiries and providing telephone and remote technical support to our customers
- Resolving customer service events by leveraging Philips tools and resources as needed
- Timely escalation of customer product issues for evaluation and action by higher level support
- Technical support for the local service organization
- Follow-up and monitoring of performed service jobs
- Perform security updates
- Establish and develop good cooperation agreements with our customers and internally at Philips
- Ensure that you are up to date on new technology that could potentially affect Philips products within your product portfolio
- Certain parts of the job involve traveling and working onsite at customer sites
- Driving increased productivity through utilization of remote tools and technical skills
- Implementing best practices and process improvements while diagnosing problems, applying effective solutions and determining follow up actions
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- You have a technical education at university level or similar, BsC / Candidate in medical technology
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in engineering in medical technology in the areas of imaging systems, X-ray and Ultrasound.
- Experience in technical remote support
- Ability to troubleshoot, think logically and provide technical solutions authoring.
- Strong time management and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with teams and customers
- A good ability to meet customers and collaborate in teams are important qualities.
- Fluent in Swedish and English (both are requirements)
- Other Nordic languages are an advantage
- Driving license
