Help define writing and editing standards for People content.Write, edit and load content. Work with subject matter experts to develop and update content, articulating key messages in a way users will understand.Evaluate and prioritize requests with input from leadership as needed.Understand content structure and style for the web. Scope content development work, communicate timelines, and negotiate with partners.
- 10+ years of experience in online content production and editing
- Ability to write clear, direct, and compelling copy in accordance with the Apple style guide and HR glossary
- Ability to organize content in a simple user-friendly structure for reading online
- Meticulous, highly organized, and strong task/project management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to build strong relationships with partners in an often ambiguous and fast-changing environment
- Ability to influence without authority and drive tasks while working with cross-functional team
- BA/BS degree in English, journalism or communications (or related field)
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience with HR and global projects preferred
