Job Description

Responsibilities:

Forecasting and Strategic Planning:

  • Lead development of short and long-range national forecasts working in collaboration with Marketing & Finance.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives L3N, across aligned franchise/indications, including customer and patient mapping, persona development, and profiling.
  • Inform resource planning, horizon scanning, go-to-market modelling, and targeting using available data sources & insights.

Market Research:

  • Coordinate all qualitative and quantitative market research conducted in UK, by local or Global teams, leveraging new techniques such as behavioural science to gain deeper customer insights.
  • Ensure data compliance and governance, following all market research and GDPR guidelines.

Market and Campaign Analytics:

  • Responsible for all business analytics across aligned products/franchises, including sales and patient analysis, NHS performance, competitor & market intelligence.
  • Oversight of national, sub-national, or in-market KPIs & OKR setting & reporting.
  • Support adoption of multi-channel promotion through evaluation of use and customer preference.

Customer Journey Mapping and Analytics:

  • Collaborate with Human Health Data & Analytics, Data Enablement & Data, Operations and Systems (DOS) teams to deliver analytic insights and business reporting.
  • Evaluate end-to-end customer journeys and sequential engagement planning & impact, in-depth campaign evaluation and channel optimization using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Complete ad-hoc ROI & ROE analysis to support prioritisation & planning.

Coaching and Mentoring:

  • Provide coaching and support to placement students and graduates, guiding them in delivering analytics projects and tracking deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to adopt new technologies and tools.
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and coordination abilities.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Detail-oriented with a curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth understanding of NHS structure, networks and environment.
  • Broad knowledge of our products, therapy areas, key competitors, and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strategic thinking with a holistic view and a willingness to challenge.
  • Understanding of market research methodologies, techniques, and guidelines.

Preferred experience

  • Analytical roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical industries.
  • Understanding of data sources, backend analytics infrastructure, data cleaning, statistical techniques efficient big data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Veeva CRM), marketing automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and promo materials management (Veeva PromoMats).
  • Awareness of digital tracking and analytics tools such as Hotjar, MOZ, and Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in analytical visualization tools like Excel, Spotfire & Power BI.
