As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will be a technical resource and subject matter expert on Compleat automation. You will independently fulfill functional, technical, and project management roles in support of Compleat. As a solution provider, you will be expected to demonstrate strong collaboration skills with both team members and customers, to ensure delivery of exemplary solutions for travel industry business needs. As a Senior resource, you will mentor team members and act in a technical lead capacity when interacting with customers.
What you will do:
- Lead moderate to complex technical and client related projects and activities
- Consult with customers to provide subject matter and technical expertise throughout the development lifecycle including: requirements analysis, solution design, software development, code reviews, testing and deployment support
- Design and develop solutions to address complex internal and external requirements which may involve integration with 3rd party products
- Proficient at writing high-quality, efficient and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and standards
- Manage customer interactions in our CRM tool. Maintain accurate, complete and timely CRM documentation for all steps and activities taken to resolve issues and inquiries.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency responding to inquiries; look for value-add opportunities when interacting with customers
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
- Professional development software experience
- Experience with Integrated Development Environments like Visual Studio, Eclipse
- Thorough understanding of SQL, XML, HTML, VB, API and web services
- Thorough understanding of relational databases and SQL queries
- Travel technology experience with understanding of multiple GDS systems
- Comprehensive understanding of Compleat programming concepts
- A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn more. You should be open to learn from others and willing to help mentor and teach.
- Proficient on MS Office programs and Windows OS
