IT Analyst, Technology Consulting, Insurance (Life - Architecture) - Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1572867), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Cleveland, OH.

Provide technology consulting services to insurance clients. Analyze business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, technology infrastructure design, and technology selection decisions to assist clients with designing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Focus on advising clients on Life and Annuities technology solutions and services to help identify, assess, manage, and measure the organization’s capabilities. Assist clients with all phases of the technology enablement life cycle, helping to give specificity to the appropriate architecture, data model, and system design and interfacing requirements. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience defining business and technical requirements. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or related field and 4 years of work experience defining business and technical requirements.

Must have 3 years of experience at a financial services company; alternatively, must have 3 years of experience working as an advisor to life insurance companies.

Must have 4 years of experience working on business system applications in a technical capacity.

Must have 1 year of experience in one or a combination of the following: Oracle DBA, MS SQL, Java, or .NET.

Must have 4 years of experience working with teams of business advisors through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, process and prose creation, business re-engineering, and application mapping.

Must have 4 years of experience designing, developing, and integrating business operations technology.

Must have 4 years of experience researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, life insurance industry practices, and new application technologies.

Must have 3 years of experience in one or a combination of the following:
• Life Insurance Claims,
• Life Insurance Policy Administration,
• Life Insurance Underwriting, and/or
• Life Insurance Billing,
