What You’ll Do
  • Represent Tesla to our customers, partners, and other industry stakeholders to support the sales process
  • Provide critical support throughout the sales cycle, including organization, customer engagement, technical/economic analysis, etc., to achieve a targeted product volume and/or revenue closed each year (quota bearing)
  • Generate high quality, accurate quotes and project proposals, often in response to highly complex and formal utility RFPs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Tesla strategic goals
  • Manage techno-economic analysis of opportunities - identifying associated risks, optimizing technical and commercial variables, and articulating Tesla’s value compared to competitive offerings
  • Assist senior Sales Leader in managing a project pipeline of short, medium, and long-term opportunities spanning a range of customers, project types, and markets
  • Provide reporting to management as and when required
What You’ll Bring
  • 2-3 years minimum work experience in the renewable energy space and/or power sector
  • Experience in sales or business development (customer-facing)
  • Working knowledge of battery systems, renewable power, and grid markets
  • Hands-on contract negotiation/management experience in energy storage or renewables a plus
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functionally in fast-paced, dynamic settings
  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills regarding complex price models, storage/renewable project economics, techno-economic optimizations, quantitative risk analysis, etc.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel periodically
