Note: This job is located in Hudson, MA and is primarily onsite.Key job responsibilities
A SDE II implements solutions for complex problems that are unique to smart grocery carts, and are rarely encountered in the traditional embedded world. The SDE II owns design, implementation and operation of embedded software that runs on the device plus corresponding cloud side services in AWS.A day in the life
A typical day may start with a few hours of writing code in Python/Rust/Bash, followed by standup. In the afternoon: drafting of a design for Linux device management or white-boarding sessions on a scalable system design.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
