Principal Associate, Supply Chain Management (Non-Associate Labor Team)

Key responsibilities include:

• Problem Solving & Strategy Advice: Provide problem-solving and innovative ideas to support internal customers. Identify value-generating opportunities (e.g. savings, efficiencies, or revenue growth) by providing numerical analysis and optimization strategies.

• Negotiation:Partner to negotiate contracts for a broad range of services for Capital One

• Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for third parties and manage an effective governance between Capital One and assigned third parties; building strong internal and external relationships

• Project Management: manage multiple projects concurrently in an autonomous environment; ability to generate and pursue ideas; complex project management skills; written and verbal communications with internal and external stakeholders

• Collaboration: Partner with internal risk groups to ensure third party relationships are compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.

• Supplier Sourcing:Maintain awareness of the external marketplace as it relates to your suppliers and perform sourcing activities where appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience​

• At least 4 years of experience in Supplier Management, Relationship Management or Procurement

• At least 3 years of analytical or negotiation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 Years of experience in Supply Chain Consulting or Supplier Management

• At least 4 Years of experience in contract review, or negotiation management

• At least 2 years of experience in Operations Management

Richmond, VA: $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Assoc., Supply ChainThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
