Responsibilities:
Lead development and execution of a strategic marketing agenda to attract, engage, and convert Bank prospects through search engine marketing.
Drive testing roadmap to inform measurement, bidding, targeting, creative, & landing page optimization that engages consumers and drives business results.
Steward the maintenance and monitoring of our SEM efforts with agency and internal analysts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for SEM agency partners, ensuring search strategies are aligned to business priorities and campaigns are efficient and effective.
Partner with measurement team to uncover performance trends and insights that unlock actionable strategic opportunities
Provide recommendations for performance optimizations, keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, and other facets of paid search in accordance with business goals.
Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and best practices to drive channel innovation.
Act as a go-to SEM expert for internal teams, democratizing search insights and learnings.
Serve as a mentor and coach to junior team members.
The ideal candidate:
Is obsessed with SEM, and digital marketing in general.
Has experience managing enterprise SEM accounts with significant budgets
Is comfortable working with complex measurement models (attribution, incrementality, MMM)
Loves to leverage data to tell stories and uncover actionable insights.
Demonstrated “Self-starter” with strong organizational skills, ownership mentality, ability to prioritize workloads, and fast learner of new digital marketing and SEM-specific technology tools
Highly effective communicator with excellent presentation abilities; comfortable presenting in front of large audiences and executive leadership
Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills, managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of excellence
Thrives on the opportunity to lead and build in white space and the drive for results
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
At least 5 years experience in managing SEM enterprise sized accounts
At least 3 years of experience in planning, execution, and analysis of paid digital programs
At least 3 years of experience with marketing analytics and optimization
At least 3 years experience with Google Analytics, or Adobe Analytics, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years experience in SEM managing enterprise sized accounts
3+ years of agency or agency management experience
3+ years of marketing experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry
3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity
AdWords / Bing certifications
