Meeting and exceeding sales goals (quotas)throughprospecting, qualifying, managing, and closingsales opportunities within your assigned territory.
Leading and leveraging a matrix account team, including Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Marketing, Inside Sales, and Customer Success. Together, you will develop and execute aterritory planto manage the sales pipeline and enhance customer relationships.
Co-selling effectivelywithSalesforce Cloud Sales Executivesand other cross-functional teams to maximise Slack’s impact within government accounts.
Understanding the competitive landscape, particularlyMicrosoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and Zoom, and positioning Slack as the preferred collaboration platform.
Building and managing strategic partner alliances, ensuring alignment with government priorities and procurement processes.
Maintaining accurate CRM data, ensuring that account status and sales opportunities are well-documented to support forecasting and strategic decision-making.
Nurturing and expanding relationshipswith public sector accounts bybuilding trust and deeply understanding their unique challenges, including budget constraints, regulatory requirements, and evolving government policies.
Effectively communicatingwith leadership, customers, partners, and extended teams to ensure alignment with public sector needs.
Participating in team-building and company-growth activities, such asstrategic planning, sales training, customer marketing efforts, and volunteering.
Travelling to customer locationsin support of sales efforts acrossNSW, QLD, and Federal Government.
