Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leads - Market development and total account management for major HI/Retailer Key Accounts in Norway, the objective is to develop strong commercial growth partnerships across the channels in Norway.
- Implements - Category Management principles to assortment reviews, strong activations, seasonal and new customer pipelines and proposals to maximize 3M`s position in Norway and presence on core fixture and at key seasons across several sub-categories.
- Determines - Execution of key account plans focusing on delivering growth according to our channel planning process. Secure high customer satisfaction through collaboration and case execution across internal people and functions in 3M.
- Supports - your Channel Shopper Marketer to understand retailer strategies, shopper insight, market data and deliver impactful instore execution programmes.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Track record of success within a Home Improvement/FMCG Retail/Consumer Electronics Key account management setting, delivering organic business growth and new business development (sales and gross margins through a profitable mix).
- Building annual business plans collaboratively with Key accounts to maximize mutual growth across defined KPI’s.
- Understanding of retail category management principles and application in influencing ranging decisions.
- Excellent influencing skills both internally and externally – at different levels across the organization.
- Manages full scope of the Key account management toolbox including financial data, Point of sales data, Category and assortment data, cost to serve, campaign/promotional return on investment data, forecast and demand planning data etc. Utilizing and experience using CRM and analytical tools (Salesforce.com, PowerBi etc.)
- Outspoken growth mentality: Ability to work under pressure, bring a positive growth mindset and seek out new business development opportunities with tenacity.
- Experience from working in virtual team setup’s across Nordic countries, and are comfortable working independently.
- Good English (spoken and written)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or a basic commercial education
- GAP Negotiation or similar level training experience
- Highly developed Excel skills and competency in handling complex data analytics
- Having worked with Home Improvement or Retail Go to Markets strategies, and establishing a strong position and distribution in selected markets or market segments
- Having established connections within the Home Improvement and Retail value chain in Norway
- Experience from global organizations – managing tools, systems and processes in complex organizations
- You can be in a KAM, senior KAM, Head of KAM’s or Sales Manager role – balancing both tactical and operational Key account elements every day.
