  • Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Demonstrating engineering, manufacturing, or quality control experience in new product introduction (NPI) development and critical phase gate to ensure scalable yields and to facilitate large volume production
  • Developing process quality plans and supplier quality audits and driving corrective actions and failure analysis efforts for quality and operation issues impacting the supply chain or production milestones
  • Mechanical quality and reliability concepts, quality sampling methodologies, supplier management, and general manufacturing operations to manage risks based on specific product needs
  • Developing and evaluating measurement systems for various materials in different shapes and forms at a high scale
  • Establishing inspection sampling rates that balance quality risk management and Capex expenditures from over-inspection
  • Performing project management using tools such as design of experiments (DOE), root cause analysis, and statistical analytical tools to understand complex issues and demonstrate replication of failure modes
  • Utilizing mechanical enclosures, castings, plastic parts, injection molding, tooling, jigs, fixtures, or high-volume quality manufacturing engineering to understand the impact of kick off requests and influence vendors on best material selection and design of quality tools
  • Performing Gage R&R (GRR), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) practices to collaborate with product design on measurement practices and influence design decisions
