The Director of Quality Organizational Development will oversee the design, implementation, and organizational development policies to improve company performance. The Director of Quality Organizational Development duties include examining current policies and practices, identifying issues or weaknesses, and developing solutions to align with business goals. You will also create training programs and instruct managers to implement the new policies and procedures. In this role the Director of Quality Organizational Development will also oversee Performance Improvement and Quality Management by providing a planned, systematic, organization-wide approach to designing, measuring, assessing, and improving its performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Well versed in planning and implementing training programs to help employees develop new skills or improve existing skills
- Experienced in coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient operations is in align with company standards
- Knowledgeable with establishing procedures and policies for the department to follow, and ensuring that they are thoroughly followed
- Effective and persuasive communicator with the ability to effectively convey ideas to all levels of management
- Skilled problem solver who works with a sense of urgency and is results oriented
- Six to Seven years of job-related experience is required
- Supervisory experience of hourly direct reports
- Strong analytical and analysis of data skills
- High level proficiency in all Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Bachelor's degree in training and development, organizational development, engineering, or related discipline is required.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Eight years of experience is required with at least two years of management experience.
- Expert in designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
- Expert in writing and implementing policies and procedures, specifically in a technical industry
