The EP Clinical Marketing Manager role will serve as a key contributor to the overall global electrophysiology strategy and marketing execution by focusing on Clinical Marketing activities. The person in this role will be regarded as a deep clinical marketing expert with broad knowledge of electrophysiology and electrophysiology products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Gain deep understanding of EP product and clinical data (BSC and competitive) to support commercialization of products in the EP portfolio
- Partner with Clinical, Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and Therapy Development teams to help identify strategic and tactical data needs
- Develop a deep understanding of the global clinical landscape, markets, trends, and competition to support in making data-driven decisions for product launch and commercial strategies.
- Develop and launch clinical marketing deliverables, including clinical brochures, clinical summaries, digital communications, and symposia content.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, including Key Opinion Leaders, to gain insight into clinical data needs and communicate on Boston Scientific clinical data
- Effectively work cross functionally to generate evidence plans including claims matrices and substantiation plan with a high level of collaboration to ensure global teams are aligned to strategy, messaging and defined KPIs
- Utilize Market Research and Advisory Board feedback to inform future clinical strategies and recommend investment decisions.
- Maximize opportunities to publicize new data releases at major scientific and professional conferences.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, clinical or related Healthcare/Biomedical field
- 5+ years of work experience in marketing, strategy, business, and/or sales operations
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with clinical data in a commercial medical device setting
- Excellent Project Management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Must have ability to drive communications strategies and influence stakeholders
- Proven Business Acumen
- Experience defining and utilizing a broad range of secondary research, primary qualitative and primary quantitative research techniques to identify and address customer insights on clinical data
- Ability to travel up to 30% including internationally
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree (such as MBA) with 3+ years of work experience in marketing, strategy, business, and/or sales operations
- Electrophysiology experience
- Ability to create and sustain relationship development/collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders; Marketing, Clinical, R&D, Health Economics, and Sales
- Clinical and/or product marketing experience
