About the role:
In the role of Senior Manager, you will be responsible for establishing the strategic and operational groundwork for data-centric marketing endeavors. This includes providing intellectual leadership, guiding team efforts, overseeing a dynamic team, and shaping the marketing analytics strategy across our division.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contribute intellectual capital regarding measurement, data, analytics, and insights.
- Develop and deploy a strategic vision, analytics maturity roadmap, and a consistent, repeatable measurement process for the team.
- Lead and manage a team of data experts and marketing analysts.
- Recommend best practices in data processing and reporting automation to reduce reliance on manual labor.
- Identify effective methods of converting marketing program results into actionable insights.
- Provide strategic and tactical data and analytics recommendations to cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment on key initiatives.
- Evaluate and recommend data-driven vendors and solutions to drive innovation and operational excellence.
- Foster creative thinking around data usage to solve unique business challenges.
- Triage and respond to requests related to identified data issues.
- Present analysis and recommendations to senior-level management.
- Manage project execution efficiently, implementing best practices.
- Partner with legal and regulatory stakeholders to ensure data practices comply with requirements.
- Cultivate a collaborative team environment, including participation in department-wide training efforts and fostering employee growth.
- Develop and maintain budgets while implementing cost-saving measures.
- Ensure Urology marketing analytics capabilities align with other BUs and global best practices, contributing to leading our marketing analytics transformation towards omnichannel, customer-centric experiences.
- Stay updated on industry standards and trends, communicating relevant information to the organization.
- Effectively communicate and recommend innovative ideas/plans to business partners, gaining alignment.
- Champion thought leadership by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in analytics.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams, demonstrating the ability to create impact and drive change across stakeholder relationships, teams, and business results.
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc., Ad Tech/Mar Tech platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Google Analytics 4, etc., and relational databases like Snowflake, Google BigQuery.
- Experience in utilizing and modeling multiple data sources simultaneously, including identifying and procuring third-party data.
- Strong understanding of online/offline measurement and analytics, capable of providing meaningful insights to stakeholders and internal teams.
- Expertise in leveraging the digital data ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing communication and storytelling skills.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills, combined with a "team-first" leadership philosophy.
- Willingness to travel (35%) domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative area of study.
- Experience with establishing data conversations between marketing and sales functions.
- Experience working in MedDevice/Pharma or other similar regulated B2B industries.
- Experience with A/B test design and associated testing platforms.
- Understanding of advanced marketing analytics techniques to solve business problems, such as lead scoring, attribution modeling, and media mix models.
