As an SDE-II on Amazon's Shipping and Delivery Support (SDS) team, you will be responsible for developing the SDS Driver Support Landing Pages. You will design and implement features that dynamically offer relevant support options tailored to the driver's current state, whether on or off duty. Leveraging generative AI, you will create an intelligent Help search feature that facilitates content discovery and provides optimal call-to-action recommendations. Additionally, you will integrate large language model (LLM)-led chat and voice support options to ensure drivers receive comprehensive assistance throughout their journey.You'll take an active role in driving technical excellence, performing thorough code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and proactively troubleshooting production issues. By ensuring the robustness and performance of the solutions you own, you'll help improve the overall delivery process and deliver high-quality software to our customers.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
