Your impact
Our Design Architects support the Project Architect to assist in preparing designs, completing construction documents, write up building plans and presentation of materials.
- Responsible for collaborating on design projects; brainstorm project ideas, complete design drawings in AutoCAD and Revit and assist in reviewing project proposals, remaining a part of the process from conception through development.
- Coordinate project details; specifications, dimensions, assisting with initial project research and outlining project schedules and tasks.
- Communicate with involved parties; contractors to monitor the progress of a project, communicating with clients as well, noting their requests, answering their questions and sending them project updates.
- Assist in creating project proposals and completing construction paperwork for buildings.
- Develop detailed plans and shop drawing using- Autodesk- AutoCAD and Revit.
This position will be classified as modified full time, averaging between 21-39 hours per week, and paid on an hourly basis.
Here's what you'll need
- Professional Degree in Architecture (Bachelor or Master of Architecture)
- Demonstrated experience as an Intermediate Design Architect in an Architectural or Engineering organization
- Working knowledge of model/rendering and design tools (including REVIT, AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
