Partner with Senior Leaders and HR Business Partners todrive and ensure the success of Tesla’s compensation programs for Manufacturingincluding Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams
Provide ongoing support for staffing teams to appropriatelyalign pay with Tesla’s competitive practice and philosophy
Act as a Business Partner, problem solver, and play agovernance role in the creation, negotiation and review of compensationprograms and business rules
Diagnose gaps between current and desired state
Use strong communication and analytical skills to driveunderstanding of compensation philosophies, practices and administration amongleaders and managers and assist in cascading to all levels of the organization
Supports human resources leadership to formulate, determine,and effectuate management policies regarding compensation, including specialaccess to confidential and sensitive personnel communication and records
Aligns conduct in performing all job duties and functionswith human resources leadership goals and objectives, exercising good judgmentin all interactions with Company employees
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of Compensation experience, preferably athigh-growth company working with Engineering, Production, and/or Manufacturinggroups
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of broad-based compensation programs(base/bonus/equity), pay for performance, benchmarking/market data, jobevaluation, etc.
Experience in union negotiations or with union populationpreferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a deep interest inanalyzing data to drive sound decision-making
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail andthe ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competingdemands
Ability to understand general engineering concepts preferred
