Youwill report directly to our ESS Senior Director of Executive and InternalCommunications and you’ll work out of our Headquarters in Charlotte, NorthCarolina on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the organization by:
- Lead the development and implementation of internal communication strategies and plans for M&A, business transformation and crisis, aligned with the company's vision, values and objectives.
- Create and manage internal communication materials, including comms plans, key messages, and presentations
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of internal communications activities and initiatives and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the internal communications channels, tools and processes to deliver timely and relevant information across the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on internal communications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company goals
- Align with the Sr. Comms Director and Corporate to support crisis management and develop proactive strategies to mitigate potential issues
- Work with a team of internal communications professionals, providing guidance and support to junior communication team members and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and excellence.
YOU MUST HAVE: - 10+ years of experience in internal communications or related roles, preferably in a global and complex organization.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful internal communication strategies and plans for M&A, change management and crisis situations.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and channels.
- Creative, strategic and analytical thinker, with the ability to solve problems and adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Highly motivated, self-directed and resilient, with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
