About the Role

As the
Program Leader, Mobility (Driver Growth) - EMEA CommOps, you will guide a team of passionate program managers who each focus on key objectives like funnel optimization, driver engagement, and electric vehicle conversion. You will manage a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives that impact driver growth, bookings, and electric vehicle usage across the region. This includes end-to-end responsibility, from strategy creation to execution, using data and technology while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also be deeply involved in analyzing and improving the entire customer journey.

In this role, you will be a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, helping to navigate complex challenges and lead strategic initiatives. As Uber evolves to become a global-first organization, you will champion change, helping the team drive more coordinated and efficient operations across products and policies.

What you'll do

  1. Develop and execute the growth and sustainability strategy for EMEA Community Operations, aligning with our long-term goals.
  2. Turn strategy into actionable plans, maintaining high standards of operational excellence and utilizing metrics to track performance.
  3. Collaborate with product teams to optimize growth campaigns and enhance the driver and customer experience.
  4. Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing, inclusive team.
  5. Work closely with senior leadership to influence and support strategic decision-making.
  6. Manage cross-functional relationships across different markets and regions to drive collaboration and alignment.
  7. Be accountable for delivering on growth and sustainability performance metrics in EMEA Community Operations.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Strategy, Operations, or Management Consulting.
  2. Strategic thinking . You understand our broad strategy in Uber & Community Operations, can approach problems analytically, identify solution levers and propose an effective and implementable strategy.
  3. Strong business acumen. This team are the experts to understand drivers and their key blockers to drive with Uber. The KPI managed are business KPI.
  4. Stakeholders management . This role is highly cross-functional and needs to lead with influence across several teams and senior leaders
  5. Communication . Excellent communicator and highly collaborative
  6. Team management. Track record of building, leading, and engaging diverse teams

  1. International Experience : You have experience working across different regions and understand the nuances of managing global operations.
  2. Innovative Mindset : You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo, leveraging new technologies like AI and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
