We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial-minded
Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer - Channels. In this role, you will empower Cisco's partners to successfully build, position, and deliver our industry-leading security solutions. You'll apply your expertise to enable partner success, drive demand, and protect customers across the entire charge continuum.
Serve as the domain expert in Cisco Security Solutions
Provide guidance and assist partners in building solutions within their security practice
Enable partners' pre- and post-sales teams to be successful throughout the sales process, including product Proof of Value
Deliver solution/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Present and document technical solutions effectively
Facilitate in-depth and high-level technical presentations for partners and customers
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of technical sales or pre-sales experience
5+ years of experience in Security specialization or solutions such as IDS/IPS, AV, Firewall, and Advanced Malware Protection technologies or equivalent
Experience with low-layer (packet level) IP networking and thorough understanding of network security
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS or equivalent experience
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Successful quota achievement
Consistent record of leading and winning technical and high-value IT security projects
Experience delivering training courses and prior experience with Cisco or competitive security technologies
Experience with programming languages such as UNIX shell, Perl, or C
