As a Project Associate within our Cash Operations team, you will have the opportunity to support the team and other stakeholders regarding Payment Operations related issues and try to find solutions to improve efficiency and business process by leveraging analytic tools available within the firm. In this role, you will work across functional team with peers such Sales, Product, Client Service, Operation Control Management, Finance, Compliance and other operations groups at strategic level.

Job responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop project ideas to improve efficiency and business process within Payment Operations
  • Manage and monitor Project progress to ensure completion in timely manner
  • Ensure good control and compliance to corporate policies and regulatory requirements which are relevant to Wholesale Payment Operations
  • Support Manager on Risk and Control Agenda
  • Support Manager in Management Information System (MIS) reporting/Operation management reports
  • Manage day-to-day resolution of complex problems

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or relevant disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience in Bank Operations and senior management related roles
  • Knowledge of relevant Central Bank regulations and accounting
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proactive identify potential risks to minimize loss
  • Ability to address and manage conflict
  • Ability to implement and manage change
  • Effective delegating, planning and time management skills to meet strict deadlines and team objectives
  • Multitasking and time management

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Project Management experience is an advantage
  • Good organization skill and interpersonal skill to motivate and build a cohesive team for achieving department goals and objectives
  • Ability of identifying opportunities to improve operations efficiency
  • Good communication skill with peers, subordinates and internal business partners
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in payment, deposit, system testing, client implementation, billing operations, signature administration, account services application, product application, tax payment processing, and cash counter management
