The Syndicated Finance Group is housed within Commercial Banking a part of Global Banking and is responsible for working on complex financial situations involving syndicated and leveraged transactions.

As the Syndicated Finance Group Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a team that is marketing, structuring, pricing, negotiating and distributing syndicated green economy project finance loans including construction, acquisition and stabilized asset and / or portfolio loans. In addition, the Group Manager will work closely with the leadership teams to drive the strategy for increasing syndicated loan market share in the segment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Syndicated Finance Group team responsible for originating, structuring, pricing, negotiating, and distributing project finance debt transactions
  • Subject matter expert on market activity and pricing
  • Maintain active relationships for loan distribution
  • Partner with the green economy coverage teams to identify new opportunities
  • Work with credit to manage the balance sheet
  • Supervise deal teams responsible for executing transactions
  • Significant interaction with clients and investors at a senior management level

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience with loan syndications at a financial institution; including syndications experience
  • Strong knowledge of debt capital markets
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and help develop innovative client solutions
  • Ability to work as a team player interacting with a variety of deal members within a financial firm
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and marketing skills necessary
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with clients at the C-suite level
  • Demonstrated leadership, relationship building, and communication skills
  • Management experience within a matrixed organization preferred
  • Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) security licenses 63, 79 and 24 (or must obtain in first 90 days of employment)
