Your impact

. As Section Leader, you will support the Director of Operations – Environmental Solutions ANZ and provide leadership to the Section. You will provide visible, inspirational and consistent leadership and role modelling of Jacobs’ core values, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture across your Section that embodies Jacobs’ Culture of Caring and prioritises the health and wellbeing of your people. You will set clear direction and provide a strong role model regarding client focus and responsiveness and your strong client relationships will help to ensure we can identify and anticipate client needs. Our recruitment, retention and development programs should reflect this need.

As a key member of the
Environmental Solutions ANZ Leadership Teamand the operational leader of the Ecology ANZ section, your focus will be on:

  • Nurturing team culture to support our high performing team, including coaching and mentoring staff, with an aim to support professional development.
  • Providing strategic direction for the Section, including strategic planning and implementation.
  • Supporting the Section to deliver against agreed goals, strategies and KPI’s.
  • Actively building relationships, and supporting others in the Section to build relationships, with Jacobs’ Focus clients.
  • Monitoring local industry, competitor, and client trends, assessing and managing their impact on capability and competitiveness in the market.
  • Initiating step change improvements and performance initiatives in the Section.
  • Growing our use of Global Integrated Delivery.
  • Implementation of resource sharing opportunities across other Sections and globally
Here's what you'll need
  • Demonstrated sound understanding of the market in Victoria or New South Wales for Ecology consulting services.
  • Our ideal candidate will be a collaborative decision maker with the ability to develop and inspire others.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in developing effective client relationships and contributing to business growth.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement to shape a constructive culture is key for this role.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
