Purpose Statement:
This role will help plan, develop and execute educational programs and meetings for Health Care Providers (HCP) that are aligned with Professional Education and Neuromodulation Franchise goals and initiatives. This position will report to the Associate Director, Professional Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in the planning, development and implementation of Prof Ed meetings.
- Develops a basic understanding of the Neuromodulation products, therapies and business.
- Communicates proactively with internal and external customers to coordinate and manage expectations, timelines and logistics for their participation in the event.
- Provides direction to third party vendors to incorporate ideas, goals, and budget and to ensure vendor has clear concept of what is required for the final product.
- Manages all aspects of registration for courses including invitations, travel and hotel accommodations, rooming lists, and ticket distribution to ensure that logistics are effectively managed for all participants and faculty.
- Manages post program reconciliation of invoices and budget for compliance purposes and Sunshine Act reporting for senior leadership.
- Archives all documents and records pertaining to program management (e.g., research files, contracts, agreements, correspondence) by maintaining secure files to ensure program/project information remains confidential and is available for future reference.
- Tracks and maintains projects within identified budget, ensuring cost-saving measures where appropriate.
- Understands financial negotiations, contracting, vendor payments and accruals process.
- Partners with vendors to ensure that meetings & events meet expectations.
- Develops working relationships with HCPs and field personnel through scheduled meetings and other interactions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical training experience or Med Device/Med Tech industry experience
- Weekend travel for HCP training events up to 40%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Awareness of Neuromodulation, pain management therapies, and clinical experience is preferred
- Experience with planning and managing large and small meetings and events
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate cross function collaboration
- Manage competing projects and deadlines with multiple teams and various stakeholders
- Independent responsibility for financial processes and documentation
- Compliance and regulatory process management and vendor negotiations
- The ability to effectively manage simultaneous priorities, projects, deadlines and communicate effectively, proactively with peers and leadership
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, competitive environment, with strong time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift and move large pieces of equipment (up to 50 lbs.)

The expected annualized base pay range this full-time position working at this location will be from $59,300 - $112,400, plus annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements) and the value of core and optional employee benefits being offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Boston Scientific considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may be otherwise adjusted if the position is filled outside of the intended geographic location.
