Sr Account Manager
A challenging position in Sales, acting as the primary interface between our customers and the business, supporting and advising our existing customers and working closely with distributors as well as expanding our distribution channels and customers. In this position you will lead all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our Fixed and Semi High tech Gas Detection Business (PMC) for all the Accounts based in Italy North West and Central, directly and through Major Channel Partners.
You will build relationships and understand customer requirements to provide appropriate products or solutions.
You will define a sales and growth strategy toward key sub segments while aligning with critical sales business objectives.
You will identify opportunities and build credibility utilizing your product knowledge to deliver the Honeywell value proposition to the customers.
You will work from home office, spending 4 days on the road-visiting customers in a specified territory (T.B.A).
Work closely with existing distributors as well as reviewing and expanding our distribution network and acquire new end users.
Responsible for developing a sales strategy for a defined region, identifying new and existing sales opportunities; negotiate and close opportunities.

Key skills and qualifications
Minimum 3/5 years direct sales experience dealing with end users and distributors, account management, sales and/or sales support experience
Extensive knowledge of oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical markets
High level of negotiation skills on all levels of an organisation
Self-starter individual with the ability to work independently, accountable and real ability to take full responsibilities
Ability to build, grow and use a network of relevant contacts
Collect information and inform Marketing function about market requests and competition

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Excellent communication skills both in Italian and English languages
Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
