We’d rely on your collaboration skills to coordinate interdisciplinary work as well as encourage to bring your fresh ideas to work everyday while ensuring client satisfaction and delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule. As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the design of all Electrical deliverable documents and the design and specification of medium and low voltage power distribution, motor control, standby and emergency generation systems, lighting systems, fire alarm, lightning protection, grounding, and security systems, to relevant codes of practice. You’ll develop high quality power distribution and lighting calculations, technical notes and reports. You’ll c oordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure results. Essentially, you’ll be using your design and analysis skills, to plan and design electrical systems for buildings and facilities, including commercial and institutional projects. Lastly, but not least, you will be able to manage multiple projects while helping mentor in the development and growth of less experienced engineers both locally and globally. - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering field - 5-15 years of professional experience. - Electrical design experience of various types of facilities and buildings, utility systems, design and interpretation of facility electrical diagrams. - Demonstrated ability to lead the preparation of electrical plans, specifications, estimates, proposals and/or reports. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: - Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code - Experience with short circuit, selective coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis studies - Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE). If not an Idaho PE, must be able to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire - Proficiency in lighting design (including experience with lighting design software, AGi32 or equivalent) - Practical, hands-on experience and/or Construction experience. - Revit, 3D AutoCAD or equivalent
