About the Role

You will help shape the future-state roadmap for OPEX accounting processes, with a focus on automation, controls, scalability, and global consistency.

• Lead continuous improvement and process optimization across OPEX accounting systems and workflows.

• Define and enhance month-end close processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.

• Collaborate with FinTech and product teams to evolve enterprise solutions and drive global adoption.

• Translate business needs into detailed requirements, aligning with upstream and downstream teams.

• Leverage large datasets to deliver insightful flux analysis and operational metrics.

• Act as the escalation point for stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.

• Identify automation opportunities and design scalable, efficient accounting processes.

• Own key internal controls, ensuring proper documentation, testing, and ongoing enhancement.

• Partner with internal and external auditors to support smooth audit cycles.

• Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects, providing accounting subject matter expertise.

• 8–10 years of relevant experience, including Big 4 assurance/audit and/or senior accounting roles in large, high-volume environments.

• CA or CPA certification required.

• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and public company audit standards.

• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).

• Strong grasp of the full accounting lifecycle: close, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.

• Proven experience leading accounting operations, audit support, internal controls, and transformation efforts.

• Skilled in coordinating with outsourced service providers.

• Strong analytical skills with Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables); experience with tools like Tableau is a plus.

• Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and effective in fast-paced, evolving environments.

• Able to drive alignment, lead cross-functional initiatives, and deliver measurable impact.

• Global operations exposure and familiarity with international compliance frameworks is a plus.
