Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent.
- 10 years of experience in accounting at both public accounting firms and publicly-traded multinational companies, or 8 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Experience working in technical accounting, accounting policies, accounting advisory, or a similar role.
- Experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606) and lessor/lessee accounting (ASC 842).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a technical accounting or similar role at the SEC or FASB.
- Experience in Cloud computing and SaaS.
- Understanding of GAAP accounting principles, with subject matter expertise in ASC 606 and ASC 842.
- Ability to work with senior management and influence decision making.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
