About the Role
Qualified candidates for this role must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume case management role. Top candidates will articulate how their critical thinking skills have allowed them to consistently navigate complex people and employment issues.
What You'll Do
- Manage ELR cases within our global process involving interpersonal conflict and/or allegations of misconduct (e.g. harassment, discrimination, bullying, retaliation, etc)
- Analyze context, facts and documentation gathered within ELR’s case management process to develop balanced recommended actions that address any misconduct and restore damaged relationships
- Facilitate restorative conversations (mediated discussions) between employees with an emphasis on outcomes that repair workplace relationships
- Maintain confidential records within a shared case management tool; leverage the case management tool to identify themes affecting employee groups or subgroups and develop a measured response related to trends
- Foster action-oriented relationships with HR, Employment Legal and and business leaders at all levels
- Actively support, or lead, ELR priority projects
Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations case management, mediation or human resources; additional years of experience awarded for relevant advanced degrees (e.g. Juris Doctor, Graduate Degree in Counseling or Mediation, etc)
- Demonstrated case management skills to include: planning, organization, attention to detail and ability to deliver multiple tasks or competing priorities within a time-sensitive environment
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills; must be an impactful and persuasive communicator at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with Restorative Practices, Restorative Justice or similar interventions such as Mediated Discussions, Community Circles and Actions Plans focused on harm reduction
- Significant case management (workplace investigations) capabilities paired with a thorough understanding of HR principles, concepts, policies and standards
- The ability to mentor teammates across a global ELR team and work independently to drive results at a high-level without day to day supervision
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$128,000 per year - USD$142,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$142,000 per year - USD$158,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$142,000 per year - USD$158,000 per year.
