Your Impact
- Managing and leading a team of Program managers who is responsible for ensuring the global support teams readiness, IT/business systems configuration, processes, training, lab equipment, and other areas in support of new product introductions (NPI) and new services introductions (NSI)
- Provides inspiring vision for the team and fosters an environment that encourages creativity, innovation and crisp execution in fast-paced environment -
- Directs activities of senior managers and individual project managers responsible for execution of NPI and NSI goals and deliverables
- Leverages PMI best practices, frameworks and industry tools for robust project planning, risk mitigations, execution & value delivery
- Attracts and retains the best talent - Ability to coach and develop a team of PMs that can scale Palo Alto Networks Services through high growth - Lead the team to build trusted partnerships across product and services teams, grow domain expertise, and manage E2E
- Complex cross-functional programs to prepare people, processes, and systems for new product and new services introductions
- Capitalizing on their strong leadership experience and skills, including strong process management and strong process improvement abilities
- Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Support, Marketing, Legal, Sales, Operations and Services business partners to execute Palo Alto Networks Support & Services for new Products from concept to commercialization to deliver business outcomes
- Leading all aspects of new product introductions (NPI) and new services introductions (NSI) projects and programs, including prioritization, mobilizing cross functional teams, project execution tracking of milestones and schedules, resource planning and management, risks/issues remediation, project reporting, and budget management
- Leverages project management best practices (including agile and waterfall methodologies), tools/techniques to develop robust project plans, effectively managing risks/opportunities, stakeholders engagement and executing to deliver impactful business and customer outcomes
- Directs cross-functional teams in context of new product development, product launches, regulatory submissions and other high priority projects
- Facilitates phase gate reviews for all new product development projects within the BU portfolio, ensuring alignment to business objectives and effective decision making
- Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifying impact, tradeoffs, and associated contingency plans
- Leading the organization to streamline processes, simplify and accelerate execution, manage objectives and key results, release on time, and bring tooling efficiencies - Drives day-to-day use of the Product and Services Lifecycle Process across all programs and projects and identifies process improvements to enhance Support & Services delivery framework and governance
- Effectively engaging with people at all levels - from front-line team members to VPs, SVPs, and C-level executives, communicating continuously to partners throughout the organization, requiring excellent communication and negotiating skills
- Works directly with the Global Customer Success leadership team (LT) to support strategic portfolio planning, resource planning, and maintain portfolio roadmap to achieve projected growth
- Able to work in a strong matrix organization and lead without direct authority - Able to develop strong relationships and influence stakeholders
Your Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in a software or hardware support environment or equivalent military experience required
- Demonstrated technology experience, preferably field engineering or technical support, or technical product/program management experience overseeing a large scale B2C/B2B portfolio, and people management experience
- Experience running large-scale company-wide initiatives requiring collaboration across a broad set of partners and participants
- Solid knowledge of program management role or technical program management role, support & services portfolio management, resource management, business and process management
- Proficiency with PMI standards, techniques and tools - Demonstrated experience implementing and improving Agile Project Management methodologies
- Proven track record to lead, influence and collaborate across functions
- Strong people management skills with ability to ensure team success - Seasoned in coaching and developing team members
- Demonstrated experience working with all phases of the support & services development lifecycle including concept evaluation, feasibility, design, execution, and commercialization of new support and services
- Strong negotiation, influencing and change management skills to coalesce conflicting views and drive alignment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a demanding environment while motivating core and extended project teams
- Excellent communication (written, verbal) skills and executive presence
- Technical skills & knowledge - Familiarity with supporting - cybersecurity, network security, or cloud technologies

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $168,800/yr to $232,100/yr.
