Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Experience with the United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) in a public accounting or multi-national organization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with specialized areas of accounting associated with power purchase agreements and power and utilities companies.
- Experience with Consolidation Accounting (ASC 810), Hedge Accounting (ASC 815), Lease Accounting (ASC 842) or International Financial Reporting Standards 9, 10, 16.
- Experience with SQL, SAP and spreadsheet software.
- Knowledge of commodity agreements involving power purchase agreements, renewable energy credits and power-related investments.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, fluid environment, and to support complex operational initiatives.
