Observe and verify the implementation of design drawings into construction, while complying to design codes, project budget, schedule, and best industry practices while minimalizing risks to projects. Identify issues in procurement or construction and assist the client and contractors to develop solutions. Carry out periodic review of project schedules to identify potential roadblocks, followed by assisting the client and contractors to develop a solution. Carry out periodic review on project risk register and lead discussions with the client and contractor to identify methods to mitigate these risks. Lead discussions between the contractor and the client to develop commissioning plans and also identify key activities needed in the commissioning phase of the project.
Travel requirements vary from 0% to 50% domestic travel, depending on specific project assignments.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation.
