

BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience
5 years of JavaScript application design and testing experience
5 years of experience in mid-tier languages, such as Java

The TurboTax marketing team is currently looking for a SEM & SEO Senior Lead who will bring in-depth knowledge of SEO and paid search (SEM / PPC) best practices and a proven track-record of managing, optimizing, and growing organic search with a focus on delivering business goals (traffic, web & app conversions, sales, revenue). This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level with a desire to drive results through the use of data and testing. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of experience and strong critical thinking skills with an exceptional ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Your primary goal would be to drive SEO strategy and best practices across the org, as well as spearhead the paid search advertising efforts across multiple platforms to preserve and grow organic & paid search qualified traffic that delivers on aggressive business goals each year.

This is a hybrid position based in Toronto but one may work cross-functionally with partners located across many of our global sites, including the US, UK, Australia, and more. The role would be suited to someone with an agency background with a track record of managing campaigns in the market and being able to articulate performance to senior leaders and stakeholders.

You’ll be responsible for driving the development of integrated annual and quarterly marketing plans across Canada and Latin America, working hand-in-hand with our segment and channel leaders. You'll also lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives that are critical to our growth agenda, bringing structure, accountability, and momentum to complex workstreams. In addition, you’ll support the marketing leadership team with executive-level deliverables that are insightful, data-driven, and action-oriented.
