This is a hybrid position based in Toronto but one may work cross-functionally with partners located across many of our global sites, including the US, UK, Australia, and more. The role would be suited to someone with an agency background with a track record of managing campaigns in the market and being able to articulate performance to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Take a leadership role in the planning, strategizing, managing, and executing QuickBooks LATAM and Mailchimp Canada + LATAM SEM campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, development and implementation of strategies, campaign structure, budget management, bidding and invoice management across all LoBs
  • Mentor team members to achieve targeted performance KPIs (CAC, conversions) including optimizations and campaign troubleshooting
  • Manage relationship with the agency, platform partners (Google, Microsoft), and others to optimize campaigns and help inform their product roadmap based on needs, including rolling out new enhancement
  • Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams - SEO, Analytics, Product, Finance, Engineering to drive best practices, identify testing opportunities and develop roadmaps
  • Execute campaign optimization tactics (bidding, ad copy and landing page testing) to achieve spend efficiency and volume targets. Partner with local teams to define the test roadmap
  • Audit and update existing data pipelines in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Tech teams to ensure the highest level of data quality
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience building, executing and scaling large-budget, multiple LoB paid search programs
  • SEM/PLA bid management platform experience required
  • Experience with keyword analysis, common keyword research tools
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience leading go-to-market for B2B software with be a plus
  • 6+ years’ experience using Paid Search management tools like: Google Ads Editor, Microsoft

  • Leadership Without Authority Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional workstreams without formal authority. Ability to step in and project / program manage workstreams leveraging the necessary tools to bring structure is critical.
  • Analytical & Financial Rigour Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to guide decisions.   • Develop and prioritize the experimentation roadmap, ensuring it aligns with GTM strategy and customers’ needs. Constantly evaluate and refine the roadmap based on changing business priorities, customer feedback, data-backed insights, and market trends.
  • Develop and oversee an intake and prioritization process for regional teams to request web content pages, ensuring alignment with business goals and efficient resource allocation.
  • Use A/B testing to continually enhance the web acquisition funnel, striking a balance between bold transformative initiatives and incremental improvements
  • Develop strategies to convert customers on a freemium plan to a paid plan by deploying funnel optimization and personalization across owned marketing channels
  • Extensive use of web analytics (e.g. pathing & fallout analysis, data mining, feedback/surveys, etc.) to understand user behavior and identify actionable insights
  • Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, data scientists, and product marketing to create a cohesive and impactful web experience that supports business strategies and goals.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization - proven track record of optimizing conversion funnels with data-backed insights
  • 6+ years of experience developing website strategy - defining website goals and priorities, identifying opportunities, and managing complex programs to achieve business goals
  • 6+ years of experience analyzing web analytics data to understand performance, identify insights, and extract learning outcomes from experiments
